Intensive Driving Courses
What Are The Benefits Of An Intensive Driving Course?
Our intensive driving courses are designed to help you learn quick, pass fast, and become a safe and responsible driver in the shortest time possible. Whether you need your driving licence for a job opportunity or have some time off from college or university, our intensive driving course is perfect for you. Whatever the reason, we can arrange an intensive driving course to suit your individual needs. Our intensive courses are usually over one week, with your driving test at the end of it. If you need to pass as soon as possible, book an intensive course today. Learn to drive with Pass Drive.
According to the Driving and Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA) statistics, the average learner requires around 47 hours of driving lessons, with 20 hours of private practice to pass the driving test. However, everyone is different, with some people requiring more or fewer hours. It’s for this reason that we suggest that you take a 2-hour assessment lesson, before starting your intensive course. This is a 2-hour introductory lesson where you can meet your instructor, and they can assess your driving ability. Following this lesson, you can discuss the course that will best suit your requirements.
Our intensive courses can be taken by anyone. Whether you’re a complete beginner sitting behind the wheel for the first time, have some experience, or previously sat your test, we’re here for you. It’s for this reason that our courses vary in length from 10 to 40 hours. If you’re unsure about the number of hours that you require, don’t worry, we’ll be happy to help you decide.
To have your driving test at the end of the intensive course, you must have a current theory test certificate. If you intend to undertake intensive driving lessons, please book your theory test as soon as you are ready and confident.

Intensive Driving Courses FAQs
Is an Intensive Driving Course right for me?
Our intensive driving course is the best option if you want to pass your test in the shortest time possible. It can take several months to pass your test doing weekly lessons.
How many hours will I need to do?
This depends on your previous driving experience and skill. If you’re unsure, we’re here to help you decide. We can even arrange an assessment lesson before starting the course to evaluate your ability.
What time can I take my lessons?
You can typically take lessons between 9am and 6pm. Our intensive lessons usually last around 4 to 6 hours per day.
What if I only have one or two days off per week, can I still do an intensive course?
In this instance, we would recommend doing a semi-intensive course. This would allow you to do around 5 hours of driving on your days off, over a couple of weeks.
You may also prefer to do weekly driving lessons instead, to fit lessons around your schedule.
Who books my Practical Driving Test?
We will book your driving test for you and will aim to book this for the last day of your course. This depends on test availability, but we will be in contact with you to ensure we get the most suitable date.
